SMD Electrical Services Ltd has been named Which? Local Business of the Year at the fourth annual Which? Awards.

The award was presented to owner Steve Daws by news presenter Kirsty Young, at a ceremony held at the British Museum. Mr Daws has

been in business since 2005, providing all types of electrical installation work, maintenance, inspection and testing services.  

SMD Electrical Services Ltd won the award after being voted the public’s favourite local business in the South East.  It was recommended for

its high standards of workmanship, and in-line with the Which? Awards’ theme ‘Who cares, wins’, its exemplary customer service. 

More than 11,000 Which? members nominated their top local trader to produce a shortlist of ten regional winners*.
